The name Jean Yves is not a stranger to most ears, having won Masterchef France in 2012. Born in Vietnam but raised in France, he is an expert in the knowledge of how certain flavors work together and challenge your palate. He invites you to taste every dish and join the adventure of gastronomy with him.

Loly

With a passion for our health, as well as the planet’s, Loly cooks a plant-based menu with locally sourced produce. She has a background in catering and has been cooking for events for many years from her place in Belleville, where she also invites you to satisfy your stomach while telling stories and having a great time with new friends.

Françoise

Françoise, a former Art Director, combines aesthetics and gastronomy through her catering company, serving luxury brands, fashion events, and exclusive Parisian venues. With an eye for detail, she also consults for renowned restaurants like Hôtel du Nord, Café Elephant Paname, and Yellow Tucan, crafting exceptional culinary experiences.

Our meal with Jean-Yves was extraordinary. Unusually, we were the only two to book the night we went, so we had a thrilling meal experience prepared just for us. Both genial chefs spent a lot of time talking to us about the food, their countries’ history, and other fascinating topics. The setting exquisite, even more impressive considering it is the chef’s cosy home. How a meal of this quality and complexity was prepared in what is essentially a small domestic kitchen space is difficult to imagine. As for the food, it is some of the best and most unusual I have ever tasted. Time and again, I failed to identify the ingredients I was tasting. Some were new to me – Vietnamese herbs, pandan-infused champagne – and other familiar things – watermelon, sweet potato – had been elevated and transformed beyond recognition (in a good way). My favourite course was the first one: four small vegetable and rice noodle rolls served with umami-splashed endive chasers. The meal ended with a glittery macaron confection that sent us, contented, into the Parisian night.

Impossible to forget the wonderful experience we had about a year ago with Jean-Yves! In addition to the extraordinary food he prepared for us, he entertained us from start to end... we can't wait to do it again.
